This is one of the best NSXs we have seen, it is an exceptional early UK supplied Honda NSX, finished in Formula Red with a contrasting black roof and black leather interior.
First supplied in April 1992 by John Cooper's garage in Ferring, West Sussex, this is a particularly interesting example of the first generation NSX. It has had just 2 owners from new, with the last owner acquiring the car in 1996 and retaining it within the same private collection for 30 years.
The car has covered just 28,600 miles trom new.
As an early example, it has the 5 speed manual gearbox and manual non assisted rack and pinion steering. Combined with Honda's naturally aspirated 3.0 litre V6 VTEC engine, this is the original specification of the early NSX before the later revisions to the model.
Between 2021 and 2023, at approximately 28,487 miles, the last owner commissioned an extensive mechanical, cosmetic and interior recommissioning programme with us.
The intention throughout was to preserve the original character and specification of the car rather than modify or modernise it. The work carried out is supported by an extensive photographic record together with invoices documenting the recommissioning.
During the last owner's long term ownership, the NSX was retained in climate controlled indoor collection storage and exercised sparingly in dry conditions.
An extensive history file accompanies the car, including invoices, supporting documentation and a comprehensive photographic record of the specialist work carried out between 2021 and 2023.

When first released the NSX was ahead of its time. The NSX combines build quality, reliability, durability and everyday drivability. The aluminium body is beautiful. It’s a classic you can own, take out for a drive whenever you like and not worry about it breaking down or deteriorating.
It took many years for Honda to improve on it – but this was it. The facelift car has better looks; the 3.2 NA2 engine is noticeably faster; and the six-speed gearbox is superb.
What's the best colour? Well, this really is a question of personal preference but there are two things to take into consideration: In the new model brochure, the featured car was Long Beach Pearl Blue Metallic. When the facelift was launched in the UK, the Honda press car was the same colour….
This NSX – a six-speed manual, 3.2 coupe – was the last registered official UK-supplied car. It was delivered to the first owner in Northern Ireland in November 2005, a month after the ‘Last Twelve’.
In Northern Ireland until 2006, this car was exported to Singapore, and then brought back by us in August 2015. It was my own personal car for a while, and has been professionally stored and maintained by us. We have known the car from new. Three owners. Full paint protection film. Perfect maintenance history including recent new tyres, brakes, new steering rack, full wheel alignment, new clutch master and slave cylinders.
The last owner fitted NSX-R carbon Recaro seats, genuine NSX-R gear knob and gaiter, and a genuine NSX-R steering wheel. The original parts are included with the car.
It has covered only 21,000 miles. Just beautiful. We have sold over 100 NSXs, and we haven’t seen an NSX better than this.
